ECoGREEN 2024 National Conference

The National Conference "Towards Harmonious and Sustainable Cooperation" aims to be a forum for academics, students, MSMEs, the general public and the government to share knowledge, experience and innovative ideas in building harmonious and sustainable cooperation. The ECoGREEN National Conference 2024, themed "Fostering Collaboration for Sustainable Impact," focused on sustainability practices and stakeholder engagement, particularly in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), spanning various disciplines including Business and Management, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Art and Design, Agriculture, Food Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology, Chemical, Pharmacy, and Government Policy. All sessions were conducted in Bahasa Indonesia to cater to local stakeholders. The conference aimed to accommodate diverse interests, featuring three keynote speakers: Prof. Dr. Y. Budi Widianarko, Prof. Eliezer Tarigan, PhD, and Juniati Gunawan, PhD. Their presentations addressed crucial topics such as creating a sustainable culture in higher education, the transformation of photovoltaic technology and its impact on energy sustainability in Indonesia, and cross-stakeholder collaboration in Semarang's food system transformation. In total of 106 attendees on the first day, and 93 attendees on the second day including 82 presenters had joined these two days event. The event proceeded seamlessly from start to finish, with each segment unfolding effortlessly. The keynote speaker delivered insightful and thought-provoking content, igniting dynamic discussions among the engaged audience members. Attendees actively participated, sharing diverse perspectives and insights inspired by the speaker's presentation. These interactions fostered a vibrant atmosphere of collaboration and knowledge exchange, enriching the overall experience for everyone involved.

ECOGREEN aims to strengthen Indonesian universities ability to address sustainability challenges in the country by promoting interdisciplinary education and research.
